As A Side Note
The Greens At Loomis Trail "Our corner Of Paradise" during the holiday season was almost beyond description. The beautiful snow that made our white Christmas was perfectly timed. Families were together and able to take time and visit the beaches for the perfect Northwest Coast Christmas. Everything was crisp and white, the fresh air coming across the water made everything just right to build the snowman that everyone talks about, then go inside, visit and enjoy hot cocoa and season goodies.
In the Blaine /Northwest Washington area the migratory birds have arrived. For great viewing, visit Sunset Beach in Birch Bay Village, walk the Semiahmoo Spit, and cross the road to scan Drayton Harbor. If you want to stay in your car, take a drive from the Semiahmoo Resort, down the Semiahmoo Spit, around Drayton Harbor, all the way to the Blaine Marina. the beauty is beyond your wildest dreams.
If you have extra time, drive down to Birch Bay Drive cruise the entire bay from Birch Bay to Birch Bay State Park, around to Point Whitehorn. You will be glad you did!
Okay everybody! The Greens at Loomis Trail and the community of Loomis Trail is looking spectacular. The snow is gone, the fog has burned off, the ducks and geese are having a field day on Bill's golf course.
Bill is keeping his course beautiful, as usual. Both the Loomis Trail golf course and the community of Loomis Trail are beginning to green up. There wasn't much golf to be played when the snow hit, but to see Loomis Trail all blanketed in white was beyond description. Loomis Trail area had about four days of fog. That didn't stop the hard core golfers, nor did the rain. They were out there having a great time on one of Washington's premier golf courses. If you haven't taken a look at The Loomis Trail golf course or the
Greens At Loomis Trail community, take a drive out and check out the area. Just north of Ferndale and slightly south of the city of Blaine...about five minutes from beautiful Birch Bay!
